The big OCCA Move is happening! OCCA has enjoyed the support of Brisbane Markets Ltd for over 14 years, generously providing us with a temporary base of operations in Rocklea (and really stretching the definition of temporary) . Recently we were offered a house by Consolidated Properties as part of the Cornerstone Living development in Coopers Plains. This location, while still only temporary, will give OCCA the opportunity to consolidate our Native Plant Nursery, Biodiversity Services Team and Resource Centre to one site at 9 Macdevitt Street, Coopers Plains.
Ahead of the move there is a lot of work to be done and we need your help to get the catchment centre up and running in as short a time as possible.
We have earmarked Thursday 14 May as the day for getting through as many jobs as possible. This date was chosen as we will have a large team of volunteers from Telstra to help out on this day.
Below is a list of tasks we would like to get through before and on Thursday 14th May as well as a list of services, tools and equipment that we will need. If you are able to assist in any of these we would love to hear from you. Thank you for any assistance you are able to offer.
To be done prior to Thursday 14 May:
