Bushcare and Beer is a monthly event organised by OCCA in partnership with Hiker Brewing Company.
We meet on the third Sunday of every month from 2 to 4 pm to remove weeds from the riparian vegetation along Oxley Creek at the Oxley Creek Common. As a thank you for your hard work, volunteers are then rewarded with a free beer or soft drink at Hiker Brewing Company.

Testimonial from Michael B.
Long ago I intended to connect with you guys, so coupla weeks ago, I was finally able to join a Bushcare and Beer work session. What a great afternoon it was! Not only did some creek bank get freed of its noxious weedy guests, but I learnt a ton about plants in my local area. Best thing was to meet a diverse bunch of new people – every one of them positive, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable.
Thinking about joining us but want to know more about Bushcare, find more information here.
