The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) is working closely with the Brisbane City Council, Queensland Fire and Rescue Service and Queensland Health to clean-up chemicals or other hazardous materials around Oxley Creek, Stable Swamp Creek and Rocky Waterholes Creek where containers and drums were washed downstream during the 2011 floods.
People who have concerns about potentially hazardous materials, or wish to report the location of a chemical container within these areas, should contact DERM’s pollution hotline on 1300 130 372.
