What can tiny water bugs tell us about water quality? At our recent CreekLab workshop with Brisbane Sustainability Agency, families got the chance to find out.
Our group of budding young scientists and their grown-ups headed outdoors to explore Archerfield Wetlands and search for macroinvertebrates (water bugs). Along the way, participants learnt how these tiny animals are connected to the wider ecosystem and what they can tell us about the health of our wetlands.
