Save the Date: Pollinator Project Workshops

Working with Brisbane City Council and three local Bushcare Groups, OCCA’s Pollinator Project will demonstrate how everyday spaces can become havens for native pollinators.  The project aims to encourage insect pollinators like bees, beetles and butterflies by planting their favourite food sources at two demonstration plantings at Blackheath Rd, Fifteen Mile Corner and Strathburn St Park Bushcare sites.

There will also be online resources to help make your backyards more pollinator friendly, including links to the amazing groups already working in this space.

Save the dates for Community Plantings and Workshops on:

  • Saturday 18 April 2026 at Blackheath Road Park, 154 Blackheath Road, Corinda
