Warrigal Greens (Tetragonia tetragonioides) are a native and edible ground cover, we want to propagate them around some of our new plantings so that they can out-compete the non-native invasive grasses and weeds. The warrigal greens will hopefully help us a bit in weed management and if they do too well then we can take some home for dinner, they are like spinach but need to be blanched and squeezed of excess water before eating because of their medium levels of Oxalate toxins.
